The Friends Association is now well established and includes parents and carers of children at the school, the Headteacher and other staff. So that as many people as possible can get involved we hold some meetings at school during the school day and some meetings in the pub in the evening. At present the officers are;
The Parent Teacher & Friends Association of Herne Bay Infant & Junior Schools is a registered charity run by volunteer parents who run a variety of events throughout the year with the aim of raising money to help the school provide additional materials, resources and facilities for your children.
We have a small number of dedicated volunteers who regularly assist in running our events but
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
Can you help on some upcoming events with:
helping to set up and tidy up at our events
serve on a stall at the Christmas shop/summer fair/other events.
You don’t need to come to meetings although we would love to see you.
Another way you may be able to help is if the company you work for can perhaps:
donate a raffle prize
offer price match for events (that means that whatever we raise at an event, they will match it) – many large companies do this.
